Building the pipeline of young leaders in Hong Kong, Brazil and Mexico, who are organizing across issues and developing innovative approaches to create social change

Creating intergenerational coalitions has the potential to infuse new energy, skills and tactics into established movements. CHIME’s partnership with Global Fund for Women is connecting young activists with experienced activists and grassroots organizations by supporting three organizations: HER Fund, ELAS and Semillas.

HER Fund is based in Hong Kong, and invests in human rights advancement for women and girls, especially related to freedom from violence, discrimination and poverty, and the promotion of women’s civil participation.

ELAS’s mission is to promote and strengthen the leadership and rights of women in Brazil by mobilizing resources and investing in their initiatives, including addressing violence against women, women’s poverty, lack of access to health and sexual and reproductive rights, racism and environmental sustainability.

Semillas work across Mexico to provide grants to marginalized women, which enable them to advocate for community support around abortion rights and promote young women as leaders and educators on reproductive health in their communities, including indigenous communities.

Donate today to help us support young leaders from around the world as they develop innovative solutions to the most pressing gender equality issues of our time.
